The Multi-Arts Pavilion mima, (MAP mima) is the first of its kind in Australia , an agile space designed to host national and international contemporary art installations, theatre performances, music and more.
mima, is the Awabakal name for the Pavilion, and means cause to stay. This name invites audiences to reflect on the ways the ancient and the emerging intermingle. At the confluence of Lake Macquarie and Cockle Creek, MAP mima brings art, technology and culture together.
