All Lake Mac Libraries branches will be closed on Thursday 25 April for Anzac Day. Self-access is available for inducted users at Cardiff Library, Speers Point Library, Sugar Valley Library Museum and Wangi Library Creative Hub.

The King is at Lake Mac for one night only with a screening of one of his most famous films ‘Jailhouse Rock’. Elivs was only 22 year old when he film this iconic movie featuring many of his notable songs including ‘Treat Me Nice’, ‘Baby I don’t care’ and the title song ‘Jailhouse Rock’.

For the safety and well-being of all participants, safe-distancing and social gathering measures will be practiced and contact details for traceability will be kept. All attendees will be reminded to follow health advice and safe physical distancing by keeping 1.5m apart, maintaining personal hygiene by regularly washing hands, and not attending if they feel unwell. Council reserves the right to cancel the event if deemed in violation with safe COVID practices.
