Publishing is a multi-layered beast, and in this ever-changing publishing world, having the right information is crucial. So, let’s take a trip through the Australian Publishing industry – the ins and outs, the dos and don’ts, the who’s who, of all things publishing. No matter what you are writing, whether you are looking to be traditionally published or self-publishing, this information will be invaluable.
This session will be an A-Z of publishing - you will learn about the people who make decisions regarding your book, the importance of sales, marketing and publicity, plus the role social media plays in the publishing landscape. You will also hear about the financial side of publishing, and how not to get taken for a financial ride.
Speak to a long-time industry professional face to face, and ask all those questions that are waiting to be answered.
