Have you tried to teach yourself to knit or have all the gear but need support to keep going?
This 2-week introductory workshop will give you an overview of the basics, covering fundamental skills like casting on, knitting and purling stitches, and binding off, whilst completing a basic project. As part of the workshop, all participants will work on a scarf.
All materials provided, but please feel free to bring along needles or wool you have acquired

Toronto Library, tirrabiyangba has one accessible car park adjacent to the building on Brighton Avenue. The library can be accessed by bus. There is an accessible toilet in the corridor adjoining the library.
There is a public car park on Brighton Avenue (Woolworths). The library can be accessed from a footbridge on Level 5. Accessible parking is also available on this level. There is a 2-hour limit throughout the carpark except for levels 6 & 7 which are unlimited.
This event may be photographed and filmed and your image could be used in advertising and promotion by Lake Macquarie City Council. Should you wish to not be photographed or filmed please advise event organisers on entry at the event.
