Are you captured by the thought of turning junk into something beautiful? Are you captured by the idea of making yourself designer jewellery from your waste bin? This workshop introduces you to the basics of the transformation process.
In this workshop artist Kay Pittelkow will guide you through the process of making earrings and flowers that could be turned into pendants of cuffs from recovered plastic bottles. Kay will demonstrate how to use simple tools to create basic shapes and transform that shape using the heat. The cost of the ticket includes all materials including basic fasteners. Participants are encouraged to bring coloured soft plastic bottles if possible.
