Rob Waters is a Gomeroi man and a past Australian Poetry Slam Champion (2023). Originally from Tamworth in North West NSW, Rob currently is based on the Central Coast of New South Wales where he continues his artistic practice. Rob has over 20 years experience working closely with grassroots communities in helping them to utilise culturally informed storytelling practice and spoken word poetry to spread their message locally, regionally and around the globe. Rob’s book I Will Speak Now was published by Word Travels Press in 2024.
Magdalena Ball was born in New York City, where she grew up. After gaining an honours degree in English Literature from the City University of New York, she moved to Oxford to study English Literature at a postgraduate level. She migrated to NSW Australia, where she now resides on a rural property with her family. Magdalena runs the respected review site and podcast Compulsive Reader. Her editorials, poetry, reviews and articles have appeared in many printed anthologies and journals and she has won local and international awards for poetry and fiction. She is the author of several novels and poetry books, most recently, Bobish, a verse memoir published by Puncher & Wattmann in 2023.
Sara Crane is a poet, performer and lawyer, working on Awabakal and Gadigal lands. Her debut poetry collection Cassandra Complex examines the writer’s experience as a long-term childless person on the cusp of fading fertility. It explores isolation, neurodivergence and identity. Sara has been published in the Newcastle Poetry Prize, Babyteeth, Bareknuckle Poet, Gemzine as well as Grieve, Women of Words and Girls on Key Anthologies. She has also published a chapbook titled Only Skin Separates Us. Sara is a poignant wordsmith cutting across page, hip hop and slam origins, as well as an AFTRS screenwriting graduate. An inventive explorateur in written form, she also works with people experiencing drug dependency.

Windale Hub has a rear car park accessible from Shade Lane. There is one accessible car park with a ramp leading to the building. The building also has an internal ramp. There is a second entry to the library on Lake Street with 2-hour parking available. The library has accessible toilet and all meeting rooms have a hearing loop.
