This workshop give kids the opportunity to start their textile journey or expand their curent knowledge with new techniques. Hosted by the knowledge and experienced Newcastle Creative Embroiderers and Textile Artists (NCEATA). You will have the opportunity to learn to crosstitch your name initial or kumihimo braiding. Everyone that attends will have a completed textile art piece of their own to take home with them!
NCEATA was first formed in Newcastle over forty years ago. Newcastle Creative Embroiderers and Textile Artists have been bringing together dynamic textile artists of all skill levels to share, learn and network. NCEATA meet twice a month in Adamstown to chat and stitch. NCEATA will also be showing their exhibition of works until the end of January as part of the Launchpad@Lake Mac Libraries program

The Charlestown library, located on Smart St has undercover onsite parking with accessible parking available from the public carpark adjacent to the building, that provides direct access via a ramp into the library. The venue has accessible toilets. The library is easily access by public buses
