Over two days of intensive training Mandy and George deliver the basics and give you the tools to create your comedy routines. After teaching over 2000 people stand-up comedy, including Emmy Winner Hannah Gadsby, Mandy believes the secret is in unlocking everyone's unique worldview. Over two days participants develop a 5 minute comedy routine which they perform on Friday 17 May.

Mandy Nolan
Mandy Nolan has been a comedian for nearly 4 decades. Hailed by Wil Anderson as Australia’s ‘funniest non-famous comedian’
Last year she received the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Moosehead Award for new work, she has headlined MICF Roadshow, and Sydney Comedy Festival Roadshow and she’s struck comedy gold at Upfront at Melbourne’s Town Hall. She's written 5 comedic memoirs and taught some of the brightest and the boldest: including Hannah Gadsby, National RAW winner Alexandra Hudson and finalist Ellen Briggs. She tours nationally with Ellen Briggs with her smash hit stand-up show, Women Like Us.
George Catsi:
George is a national AWGIE award-winning performance writer, performer, academic and creative producer. As an academic, he teaches animation at UTS plus runs the Creative Industries Masters program at JMC in Sydney. As a comedy writer, he works in long format scripts with a preference for satire including comedic memoir plus comedy cabaret.
George co-created and co-presents with Mandy Nolan - Authentic You masterclasses presented nationally, exploring deep connection to our authentic voice and storytelling when presenting.
